I would like to register for a driving license at the Road Club driving school. Can I just drop by?

Yes. You can simply come by during our opening hours. If this time does not suit you, please contact us by phone or email and make an appointment with us that suits you better.

When can I take the theory test?

As soon as you are ready for the test, we will arrange an appointment for the theory test with you. Our driving school app will show you with a green light that you are ready for the test.

Do I have to attend all theory lessons?

Yes, 12x basic material and 2x class-specific lessons must be attended before the theory exam.

What do I need to bring with me to the theoretical and practical exam?


Where can I take the theory test?


How many mistakes can I make in the theory test?

You can have up to 10 error points. You would only fail if you got 11 points. However, if you answered two questions incorrectly with 5 error points each, you would still fail the exam from this point onwards.

Can I take the theory test in languages other than German?


When does my driver's license application expire?


How many driving lessons do you need at least to get a car license?

By law, at least 12 hours of special driving are required. Practice driving is individual and depends on talent.

When can I take the practical exam?

As soon as you have completed your basic training, all special trips and are ready to take the test. Your driving instructor will be able to tell you from lesson to lesson how far you have progressed and whether you are ready for the test

Are there any accelerated / intensive courses?

The theory lessons take place twice a week and last seven weeks. The practical lessons can be completed in a compact two-week period, for example. We ask that you register with us early and be flexible with your time during this period.

Are there driving lessons on weekends?

Yes, we also offer driving lessons on some Saturdays. However, driving lessons are not permitted on Sundays and public holidays.

Can I switch from another driving school to Road Club driving school?

Yes, you can switch from your old driving school to us at any time. There are various reasons for doing this. Bring us the training certificate from your old driving school. Theory lessons and special trips will be recognized even after a change and will only expire after two years.
